When a physiotherapist prescribes hip exercises, we’re usually not talking about heavy squats or lunges. We are focusing on specific, targeted activation of the deep-stabilising muscles of your hip and pelvis—particularly the gluteus medius and minimus—using controlled hip stretching exercises and strengthening movements.
These crucial muscles are often weak or “inhibited” (switched off), leading to poor movement patterns, instability, and exercises for hip pain becoming less effective. Our program is designed to restore proper muscle activation and support safe movement.
